TEACHING

-I am teaching sewing at through Livermore Parks and Recreation. Livermore Adult Ed. class has been canceled as minimum class size requirements were not met. As it stands right now, Adult Education may get cut entirely! I am extremely upset by this, as not only will those confounded by their sewing machines may have to drive all over the green earth for an evening sewing class, but the individuals desiring to obtain a new set of skills for the job market are going to be SOS. Please contact the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and voice your concerns over the possible demise of Adult Education in Livermore!

SAN JOSE MUSEUM OF QUILTS and TEXTILES presents its 2nd annual High Fiber Under Five art sale November 3-November 8, 10am-5 pm, and for South First Friday's gallery crawl on Friday, November 8 from 6pm-11pm! I will once again have my artwear included in this wonderful event. The VIP Preview is the evening of Tuesday, November 3, 6:30-8:30 pm. Proceeds from the sales during the event help support the Museum's fiber art advocacy efforts. LIVERMORE ART ASSOCIATION GALLERY LAA Art Gallery 2155 3rd St., Carnegie Park, Livermore. Hours are Wed-Sun 11:30-4:00 Work for sale ongoing, as I am a member artist of the gallery!
The gallery features works hand crafted by LAA artists. I have my scarves of many colors, textures, and sizes available, my eco-friendly "zesty scraps" tote bags, and new wearables for sale. All of the pieces are locally made by hand by award-winning artists in their field! The artists are present in order to answer any questions one may have about their work or custom pieces!
